Letter of the Board of Directors

After more than two decades since its inception, MADAR takes pride in having achieved steady progress in implementing its programs since its launch in 2000. However, it recognizes that there is still much work to be done to reach the goals it has set for its work.

In recent years, the MADAR team has continued to strive to provide an accurate and objective picture of the Israeli scene in all its aspects. In this pursuit, MADAR has attempted to combine the production of in-depth studies and research with providing "the image" to the widest possible range of recipients through its websites, press supplements, quarterly journal, seminars, conferences, and study days.

The feedback that can be observed through tracking the sale of publications, browsing websites, and attending conferences and seminars proves the validity of the basic assumption from which MADAR operates, which is that there is a need, a necessity, and an interest among Palestinian and Arab readers to objectively know the Israeli scene through Arab eyes and minds.

Furthermore, it has been possible to discern the fact that the interest and sense of need to know the Israeli scene extends over a wide range, including political decision-makers, influencers of public opinion, academic and economic circles, and ordinary readers.

MADAR realizes that the initial steps of success pose a challenge for development, and in its strategic plan, it aims to assert its position as a credible and influential reference for Israeli affairs.
